Sylk Magazine: Art, Politics and Sex
Category: Politic News | Nov 05, 2009 |

Sylk Magazine is a unique online publication featuring a mix of sociopolitical commentary, humor and exclusive model pictorials. Deviating from the standard men’s magazine fare Sylk is founded on the three pillars of society, Art, Politics and Sex!
Instead of regurgitating the same celebrity news and AP headlines Sylk offers up fresh, original and cutting edge content. Addressing environmental and political topics from a broader perspective Sylk’s writers not only inform but encourage the reader to view current events from a historical and social context.
Having no aversion to controversy Sylk Magazine boldly tackles political, religious and social issues, from the environment to racism, that most mainstream publications avoid like a 14th century nobleman avoiding a leper. But in all this Sylk does not take itself too seriously either, maintaining that you can be informed, make a difference in the world and have fun doing it.
But when you go to www.sylkmagazine.com the first thing you notice is not necessarily biting editorial. At the center of Sylk Magazine are the Sylk Girls, models actually selected as much for their brains as their bodies. To bring readers fresh faces and give new models a place to be seen Sylk features girls you may have never heard of before but you won’t be able to forget.
Raw, sexy, rebellious, irreverent and profound; SylkMagazine.com is a welcome breath of fresh air in the methane fields of today’s pop culture media.

I don't like Politics and I don't like to play politics but it's all ways disturbing for me to hear bad news?I don't like Politics and I don't like to play politics but it's all ways disturbing for me to hear bad news like today's news of assination of former Pakistani Prime minister. Why peopl in the world are doing this kind of things?why people can't live in peace without fighting?
I always like the BBC. Now that CNN is unwatchable (in my opinion) they are the best I have seen for international news.

About the only thing they haven't said about her today to pump her up, is she can also rip a phone book in half with her bare hands. No one cared or even knew a dam thing about her twenty four hours ago. Now they are carrying on like they have known her all their lives. It's Ironic McCain has only met her just once before announcing her as VP.

I wonder if she spins around if she'll turn into Wonder woman, with that disguised look, glasses and the bunned hair.

If you want to know about a war between two countries you've never heard of before, ask a hedge fund manager, he'll know all about it. Want to know how major business avoided the Asian economic crisis? Americans that read about what was happening to Thai baht exchange rates in 97 and the chain of events that followed it didn't get hurt. Those who weren't up on thier news were hurt bad or put out of business. These days if your a decision maker in a global company you cannot ignore anything that is happening in the world. In China, the words opportunity and crisis are the same word. You can win or you can lose in any given situation, but you'll never win if you don't know what's going on. Make a habit of being informed now and you'll naturally know what's going on in the future.
I would appreciate more information on how do you go about joining, the cost, and are there local chapters to join.
es cierto iglesias es un payaso igual que esos dos muñecotes.
Yes. Just ask any Hillary supporter or anyone who doesn't support Obama. The Obamabots flag your question automatically as a violation and Y!A goes right along.
PELOTUDO!
Well, as a blanket statement, you can say that reports about any election can be considered as political news. Considering that the President is the most powerful office-bearer in Pakistan, it is more justified. However considering the way democracy works (rather does not work!), and the way a military general has held the democracy hostage for many years this particular case is more of a joke! (that is sarcastically speaking)
Hope it helps…
Coincido plenamente.
then you want the Economist and possibly Forbes
